Douglas Trood (FTIA, CA, Reg'd Company Auditor) - Partner
Doug qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976, commencing his career with A M Magoffin & Co in 1969. This firm was the forerunner of a succession of firms, which amalgamated to ultimately form Trood Pratt & Co in 1991. Today Doug still manages some of the original clients of A M Magoffin & Co.
During his thirty eight years of professional life, Doug has obtained valuable experience in all aspects of small businesses and many large enterprises, and has developed a particular expertise in the property sector, medical and other professional businesses. He advises generally on all income tax, finance and related matters.
Doug has a keen interest in all sports, but particularly cricket, rugby and golf, however, today, his interests are usually experienced from the comfort of a lounge chair.

Ian Pratt (CA) - Partner
Ian has had over 35 years experience in the accounting profession and during this time has been involved in the property and finance industries, as well as advising on income tax and related matters. Ian is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and he also acts as a director of a number of private companies.

Peter Lockyer (FCA, Reg’d Company Auditor) - Partner
Peter Lockyer has 32 years experience in the profession, which includes ten years as a manager with a ‘big four’ firm in the UK, Africa and Asia.
He has been in practice in Australia for approximately twenty-three years and currently heads up the Audit Department of Trood Pratt & Co. Peter is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (in Australia and the UK) and is a Registered Company Auditor.
Warwick Hill (CA) - Partner
Warwick has had over 28 years experience in the accounting profession having been associated with Trood Pratt and Co in various roles for over 19 years. He has had extensive experience in all aspects of small business and family run enterprises. Warwick is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Saba Salameh (CA) - Partner
Saba is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years post-graduate experience in the profession. He has been with Trood Pratt & Co since 1993, working with small and medium enterprises, in providing advice and assistance in all aspects of taxation, financial accounts preparation, business management, and currently manages clients from all types of industry backgrounds and group structures.
Anthony Spratt (BBus, CA, Reg'd Company Auditor) - Audit Manager
Anthony joined Trood Pratt in June 2000 as our audit manager. Prior to this Anthony had spent almost 12 years with the Audit Group of a second tier firm in Sydney. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Anthony has extensive experience in audit and the provision of audit related services, including special investigations to clients in the Public, Private and Local Government Sectors. Industry experience includes marketing & distribution, finance, personnel & recruitment, freight forwarding, retail, registered clubs and trade unions.

Dominic Borgese (PNA) - Business Services Manager
Dominic has had over 17 years experience in the Chartered Accounting profession, of which 14 years have been with Trood Pratt & Co. He is responsible for a broad range of clients of varied industries of small to medium in business size. He assists clients in the areas of accounting, taxation and GST compliance, business advisory services and tax planning. Dominic is a member of the National Institute of Accountants.

Mike Fielder (BTax, FTIA, PNA) - Tax Manager
Mike has had 18 years with the Australian Taxation Office, followed by 19 years in public practice, providing taxation advice to all levels of clients including corporate groups, all levels of business enterprises, high wealth individuals and individual taxpayers. His expertise is in detailed tax advice on all areas of tax including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Goods & Services Tax, Land Tax and Payroll Tax. Mike is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Edwin Kovaluns (BCom, BA, CA, FFin, DipTA) - Business Services Manager
Edwin originally joined Trood Pratt in 1994 as a graduate accountant. After working his way to the position of Audit Manager he left the profession and went into commerce were he was the Business Development manager for a private Venture Capital and Property Development group. When Trood Pratt emerged from its Stockford consolidation phase, Edwin re-joined Trood Pratt in 2005 in the position of Business Service Manager. Edwin's experience both in the profession and in commerce brings with it a broad range of expertise covering both small and large audit, and taxation, Edwin's commercial experience assists our clients with the many practical issues faced by their businesses including accessing government grats, R&D tax concessions and doing business overseas.

Elizabeth Norman - (BCom, CA) - Business Services Manager
Liz is a Chartered Accountant with 28 years of experience. Liz has worked in Malaysia dealing with many Japanese and other overseas expatriates and many Japanese construction and steel companies. Currently Liz provides accounting and taxation services from small business to large companies for a varied range of industries including property development, building construction and retail. Liz regularly provides advice regarding accounting and tax consolidations, tax planning and other technical issues.
